Once upon a time...
BALSAMUM
An incense fragrance that calls to mind the browned pages of antique books and just unlit candles. Imagine the scent of black licorice, with a bit of smoldering damp wood and a wonderful dried fruit sweetness. A first rush of effervescent sweetness paired with a dark balsamic spiciness.
The almost mystical central notes of myrrh, as a reminiscence of cool church stones, are exalted by the sensual and haunting character of a whopping dose of patchouli.
Balsamum sounds like an incantation.
