It is here, in the murmur of ancient stones and the joyful impulse of creation, that contemporary architecture takes root. Since 2006, the Festival des Architectures Vives has been forging a link between heritage and imagination. It invites architects from all over the world to occupy the city's hidden courtyards with ephemeral, vibrant, and often unexpected installations. For a few days, Montpellier becomes a playground of meaning and dialogue open to all. This year, for its 19th edition, the FAV has chosen a theme as intense as it is generous: gourmandise.
Odore Scola, a Montpellier-based artisanal perfume house, immediately resonated with this theme. Together, we imagined an olfactory creation conceived as a solar interlude. A perfume that is at once mineral, fruity, and vegetal, a living and fleeting sensation, like the installations that punctuate the festival.
This perfume is listened to, breathed in, and felt like a passage: that of a moment suspended in the city.
