A NOTE BY NOTE PERFUME
The pieces composed by the harpsichordist François Couperin inspire the artist Jean-Luc Parant who, by touches drawn like "noteheads", interprets the scores into a work pictorial. The perfumer immersed in this artistic sphere is imbued with it to create note by note the olfactory effervescence of each of these musical pieces.
ODORE SCOLA® offers six original creations, beautiful singular eaus with citrus, floral notes , chypre or woody notes that pay homage, through their name, to the poetic and musical sensibility of the famous Baroque composer François Couperin.
The desire to bring these scents of yesteryear up to date has led us to rework these forgotten olfactory notes of Cologne.
Modernized, revisited and addictive, the Ecusson Cologne collection will accompany you on a daily basis.
The inspiration of the artist Jean-Luc Parant
“Sight has invaded all the other senses. She made herself invisible through them until smell, hearing and touch became other views of the world, other eyes that would open to see what we never have. seen. As if the eyes had covered everything with their transparency and had enveloped the nostrils and the ears, until they covered the left hand with the left eye and the right hand with the right eye. As if the eyes had brought together all the senses and the nose no longer felt anything, the ears no longer heard anything and the hands no longer touched anything.
As if our head was no more than an eye that gazed into endless space until we could feel it, hear it and touch it, and from the ground beneath our feet we were whole in all the elements that extend infinitely far around us in the universe.
Sight has replaced all the other senses. It seeped into our nostrils and into our ears, into our mouths and under our tongues. It mimics our touch. Eyes have opened at our fingertips; we see and we touch, but we also touch and we see. We breathe images rather than smells. We smell the colors, the air is no longer breathable, it is visible. We must open our nostrils, stretch our nose as we open and project our eyes, go as far as possible with it, inflate our lungs with all the perfumes as we stretch our eyes to the horizon. »
