Echoing the Water of the Queen of Hungary, an alcoholate from Montpellier which the Court of France delighted in for five centuries, Water from the Jardin des Plantes of the University of Montpellier gives pride of place to rosemary in a sunny and aromatic Languedoc bouquet, bursting with aqueous iodized notes.

This Eau was created with and for the Jardin des Plantes, with the collective of gardeners in order to translate into smell, in its environment, Salvia rosmarinus enthroned in its herb garden (herbularius, name given to medicinal plants in the Middle Ages).

Eau du Jardin des Plantes

The Montpellier botanical garden is the oldest garden in France. It was founded in 1593 under the order of Henri IV by a young doctor, Pierre Richer de Belleval, in order to develop health through medicinal plants. A true green lung of 4.5 hectares in the heart of the city, it is part of the heritage of the Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier and the University of Montpellier.

Echoing the Eau de la Reine from Hungary, a Montpellier alcoholic drink which the Court of France delighted in for five centuries, the Eau du Jardin des Plantes of the University of Montpellier highlights rosemary in a sunny and aromatic Languedoc bouquet, full of iodized notes aqueous.
